Good news for Ann Arbor. The residential housing sales momentum continued in April, with sales numbers showing a steady upward trend.
Based on information from the Ann Arbor Area Board of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service, there were 297 residential units sold in April, which is an increase of 14% over 2009 and an increase of 16% over just last month.
Condo sales have more than doubled over April of 2009 which signals that the housing market in Ann Arbor, MI appears to be showing signs of recovery. The average sale price for residential housing is up 21% from April, 2009 and 11.4% year to date, compared to this time last year.
