Living near the University of Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor is more than being close to the excitement of tailgate parties and football fanatics, its also a great area to raise a family, attend college, and invest in your future. The easiest access points by car are along Stadium Boulevard and South Main. Kipke Drive off East Stadium Boulevard takes you past Campus Safety and Transportation Services to get you to the Student Theatre Arts Complex. Students can arrive at this complex by car, but will have the hassle of congested parking. Other options include walking from bus stops at West Keech Ave or on East Stadium Boulevard across the street from the Ann Arbor Golf and Outing Club. Stops can be found on Pauline Boulevard, Franklin Boulevard, and Seventh Street, as well as other area streets.
There are several churches in this area, some restaurants and a little further east is the Dicken Elementary School and the Blackbird Theatre. All and all this is a beautiful area so close to campus that settling into this area can be perfect for the active student lifestyle, the family lifestyle, and the sports fan lifestyle. This area is truly a place you can call home.
For those who are considering areas a little further outside the immediate University of Michigan Stadium surroundings, easy commuting can be achieved from coming in from the southeast near Ann Arbor’s largest mall, Briarwood Mall. Many new homes and condos are being built in this area.Depending on the time of day this can be an easy ten minute commute, or as much as thirty minutes. The State Street area can get busy especially around Christmas when the Briarwood Mall sees many shoppers.
